When signing up for Best Pick Reports and/or Five Star Rated campaigns, you are automatically enrolled in three types of lead campaigns. All leads you receive will appear in the EverConnect Portal and be labeled with the lead source.
1. Branded Guidebook Leads
Branded guidebook leads are delivered through multiple sources:
- Print leads come from the printed Best Pick Reports and Five Star Rated guidebooks. These leads are labeled with the name of the guidebook they were delivered from.
- Web leads come from your profile on bestpickreports.com or fivestarrated.com. These leads will contain “Web” in the name.
- Best Pick Reports guidebook clients will also receive leads that come from the Best Pick App. These leads will contain “App” in the name.
2. Branded Digital Leads
Branded digital leads are delivered via EverConnect-funded PPC campaigns on your company’s brand name. Homeowners clicking on the PPC ads are driven to a dedicated micro-site that is only serving information on your company and are given no options to navigate away.
You only pay for calls to the published numbers for that are routed to you. These leads will contain “PPC” in the name.
3. Unbranded Digital Leads
Best Pick Reports runs national PPC and SEO campaigns specific to the industry driving traffic to our microsites.
Homeowners calling this number are prompted to enter their zip code and then exclusively connected to a contractor that covers that zip code in that industry in a round-robin fashion. These leads will contain “PPC” in the name.
How Do I Adjust My Digital Lead Campaigns?
Contact your Account Manager to adjust branded or unbranded digital leads, though we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to diversify your leads. Adjustments to your digital leads allow you to:
- Choose the specific day/times you’d like to receive leads
- Choose to limit the number of leads you receive per day
- Pause/resume different lines of service and zip codes

Is there a pricing difference between print leads and digital leads? No, any leads received through the Best Pick Reports network, whether digital or print, will be charged based on our Per Call billing structure (BPR Per Call | FSR Per Call).
How do I know if a lead is from print or digital? All leads will still appear in the EverConnect Portal. Digital leads will be tagged as ‘PPC’.
Are digital leads different from guidebook leads? The caller’s experience is slightly different. A lead received through print is a caller who specifically picked your name out of one of our guidebooks. A digital lead is a caller who completed a more general, digital search, looking for any contractor in their area that provides the type of service they need. This means that the digital lead may not be as familiar with your specific company but is just as eager to have their project completed.
