Best Pick Reports relies on consumer feedback and due diligence to determine a company’s qualification status.
We develop your company’s qualification rating based on either a) your company’s past three years of Google reviews or b) our survey data on your company spanning the last three years. To qualify as a Best Pick, you must achieve one of the following options:
- An overall 4.0 or greater Google rating with a minimum of 25 Google reviews for the primary category you want to go into. You’ll need a minimum of 10 Google reviews for each additional category you want to qualify for.
- At least 85 percent of recent customers contacted during our research process must state that they were satisfied with their experience with your company. The Overall Satisfaction scores of all reviews are averaged together to determine the comprehensive Overall Satisfaction score used for qualification. That comprehensive score is converted into the 1-5 scale to determine your company’s star grade.
If your company does not meet the 25 Google review minimum, you must submit a list of customer names for internal research. We conduct internal research via email and/or SMS surveys sent to your recent customers.
With our in-house research, companies new to Best Pick Reports must achieve our minimum satisfaction rating of 85 percent from at least 25 completed surveys. Companies entering new categories must meet a grade of at least 85% and 25+ surveys per category.
Companies must maintain the same satisfaction rates via Google reviews or our in-house research every year after qualifying.
Your company’s qualification rating and review count spanning the last three years of survey data can be found to the left of your company’s profile on bestpickreports.com.
If your company has participated in the Best Pick program for more than three years, you can read your older reviews in the Homeowner Reviews section of your profile. However, reviews outside of our three-year qualification window are not calculated in your company’s current score.
